Alastor doesn't know about the deal regarding Hellborn, but there is something in the phrasing of that which speaks to the possible hurt not being entirely emotional. After all, Lucifer's name in the hotel is mostly good for deterring threats rather than adding credence to the project. Does he believe someone will hurt Charlie if he leaves?

Alastor would flatter himself that it's him that Lucifer wants to keep an eye on, but he knows that's not true or he never would have left again after their first time meeting.]

It's the constant back and forth that's distracting, and we simply cannot have that now. It's imperative, for the future of the hotel, that Charlie remain focused in the aftermath of the failed extermination. Your unsteady presence threatens that.
