And life-- life isn't always going to be happy or simple, but it shouldn't be. Because that's not real. You're right, there's a lot I don't know or understand, but I hope you'll start to tell me and teach me. [She pulls back from where their foreheads were touching, eyes bright with fervent determination.] I can't promise it won't be hard, or that we both might not get upset, or even that things might get worse instead of better sometimes... but I will promise you that despite all of that, I'll be happier fighting these things with you, than I ever would be alone.
