This is my personal headcanon notes for Lucifer - feel free to borrow (comment if you do, just to feed my ego? XD) and use for PSL as you wish!

Lucifer's Sigil

He takes baths like a bird. Big ass marble tub that he can fill with water and the room designed to drain water out of it because he will duck his head under the water and throw out his wings. Water. Everywhere.

When Lilith was there, he didn't do this (...as much) but now that she hasn't been for a while, there's just a mass of blankets and pillows in the center of the bed. Little protective nest.

He has tools lying around everywhere in his rooms. Lots of duplicates of the same ones often. He can't remember where he put down the one he needs, so he just re-creates them. Over and over.

Before his fall, Lucifer was pristine. Always a happy shining white. Skin, robes, wings. His wings were a mark of pride - his glory. White and fluffy and every so soft. That doesn't mean he stayed pristine, though. He'd follow animals into their burrows (often AS them), roll in the grass with the humans, sit and watch the clouds for hours. But all he had to do is shake himself off and bam. Pristine again.

Now? His wings stained by the blood of sinners... Lilith had helped keep them preened because she had always loved them. Unfortunately, he's lost much of a reason to care. So they're definitely still beautiful on first glance, but they're not in good shape really.

He always wants to create, like an itch in his blood, and even though he can poof something into existence- he likes to make them, wire by wire, screw by screw, making what he needs on the fly. Are they ever what he wishes? No. They're never perfect.

He put so. much. time. into the plushies he created to be Charlie's little dream defenders while she slept- Razzle and Dazzle were the closest to perfect of his 'made' creations. Enough that he breathed life into them.

(And then, the only thing he has ever helped to create that was perfect... Charlie.)

Outside of recent developments, there's exactly one sinner Lucifer has cared about besides his wife - Cain. Maybe because it's his son, even if he hates the douchebag... Adam had once been his charge so maybe there's just a bit of protective nature. Maybe it's because he's a father and he knows if Charlie ended up in Heaven, he would want them to take care of her.

So, he has an eye on the brat. ...That kid has... problems. They don't talk, they don't see each other, but Lucifer just quietly makes sure Cain has what he needs without ever interacting.
(aka: if this never becomes a thing in the show, it can be off-held for an RP and not a thing, but there if it does.)

I do believe that there had been a literal Deal between Lucifer and Heaven (or someone specific in Heaven) about the exterminations. I call it the Accord [just because it's something significantly bigger than just a Deal], but it is absolutely why Lucifer didn't join the battle with the Hotel and the Exterminators until Adam actively had a hand in killing Charlie. I'm not sure if it broke the ENTIRE Accord or just allowed Lucifer to fight Adam, but I can't imagine another reason Lucifer wouldn't have been there to protect Charlie until that moment otherwise.

Summary: As per the mention from Adam about Charlie being spared because of her father when Charlie and Adam meet for the first time, I think it is purely that Lucifer [possibly Lilith as well] was unable to interfere in the Exterminations or strike an Exterminator so long as no Exterminator actively harmed a Hellborn. Soon as Adam went after Charlie... Accord broke.

I cautiously don't believe Dazzle counted as his sweet little butt was an artificially created demon from Lucifer's powers.

Lucifer is still straight up an angel. Oh, yes, he certainly has a demonic form, but we can see that Vivzie has been using the color of blood to mark specific things about people and angels have golden blood. You can see it during "Hell's Greatest Dad" from the corner of his mouth. Same as Vaggie, even if fallen, is still quite clearly an angel with her golden blood and returned wings.

I think he's still likely a Cherubim - a rank below the Seraphim which is why he could be excluded from the creation of the world - but it also would make sense in the over all connection between him and Adam and Lilith. Cherubim, by biblical lore, were the guardians on the gates of Eden. It'd make sense why he'd end up interacting with the humans, why he was there to fall in love, and why he would be so protective over Lilith when she claims what Adam did.

I do think Lucifer never actively hated Adam, but time (and Lilith) changed things. He loved his charges. His gift of Free Will (we hear it in the story as 'The Tree of Knowledge' and that he and Lilith decided to bring free will to humanity) was not done in ill-intent. I'm not saying he didn't end up fucking over humanity but I don't think, at least as far as current lore seems to go, he purposefully wanted them to know/feel/do evil like actual biblical lore states.

Lucifer's original halo is the black crown we see on Lilith in the official canonical portraits, placed there after the fall.

(I very, very badly miss the fandom creations of Lucifer's brothers, in particular everything with Michael and Gabriel, and will happily include them into things when it's okay with other people! Otherwise, while I do have significant headcanon worked out there - including how to work them in without the fandom God - I don't push this unless it's discussed properly. ^^)
